Introspection of ICT application inLIS

The road I travelled with ICT application in LIS indeed was challenging though I enjoy the challenges that brought along.  The most critical challenge that I ever  face is 5 minutes presentation and I am telling you twisting and locking of the tongue as well as the stage fright drained my confidence as a result I end up judging myself giving me low score on the board comparing myself with the rest of my classmate. Despite the complements they gave me, I felt like I did opposite of what they were telling me.

ICT application opens my eyes in different ways: when I was doing open access assignment I gain more exposure on what does it means by “open access” as it is a trend of the century. My academic writing has been improved as I am planning to be a future “PHD student in LIS”. I also gained broader knowledge about web 2.0, social network(Twitter) that I normal join with less information for fun purpose, QR codes , internet filtering . Now I am able to debate and express my views with the colleagues’ that have less information or uninformed of the importance of social networks.

I was always looking forward for my ICT application in LIS class because of the information am going to get and following day I will brag to my colleagues about all the new information. With this class I gained a lot now I need a stage to put my knowledge into practise or practical so that I can give myself a pat and say “ I created this  and that  for my work”  with the knowledge I gained from ICT application in LIS. Now I am ready to share information with the world.

Now am left with wiki project to finalise, I must admit it is not easy as it seem to be nevertheless am almost there with my group. As for my twitter project is another story that I will tell some other day

Let me take this opportunity and thank my classmate with all the inspiration that inspires me with my studies not forgetting to thank the giant I was stand on her shoulder while I was enrolled for this class Dr. Zinn I am out of word to thank you.
